The TimeMachines TM1000A is a compact, Stratum 1 GPS network time server that supplies accurate time to computers, VoIP phones, and digital clocks without an internet connection. It features a high-sensitivity GPS receiver, supporting up to 135+ synchronizations per second, and includes an active GPS patch antenna and a multi-country power supply.

This device serves as a reliable, cost-effective solution for organizations that require precise timekeeping across distributed environments, such as data centers, hospitals, and broadcast facilities. 
  • Accuracy & Independence: By utilizing a local GPS signal, the TM1000A eliminates reliance on internet-based time sources, which can be highly variable due to network jitter. It maintains a server time precision of better than 5ms plus network jitter. 
  • Capacity: The unit can support over 120,000 devices on a network with 15-minute update intervals. 
  • Network: 10/100 Mbps RJ45 port for local network connection.
    • GPS: SMA female connector for the included active patch antenna (5m cable).
    • Serial: DB9 port supporting RS-232C and TTL levels, outputting NMEA data strings and a 1PPS signal.
  • Security Features: To protect against external threats, the server includes options to mask HTTP and NTP access only to the local subnet, providing a measure of security against unauthorized access and denial-of-service (DoS) attacks. 
  • Configuration: Users can manage the device via a standard web browser interface or a serial terminal program. It supports both IPv4 and IPv6 addressing.
