A specialized cutting tool featuring sharp, wide jaws located at the very end of the head. It is primarily used for cutting wire, nails, and rivets flush to a surface, as well as for pulling out small nails or staples from wood.
How the Product Works
Unlike standard pliers that cut from the side, end nippers provide a unique cutting angle and high mechanical leverage.
- Flush Cutting: The blades are ground flat on the outside, allowing you to cut a wire or nail directly against a surface without leaving a protruding "stub."
- High Leverage Pivot: The pivot point is positioned close to the cutting edges. This design multiplies your hand strength significantly, making it easy to snip through thick wire or hard nails.
- Gripping & Pulling: The rounded exterior of the head allows you to "roll" the tool against a surface. This creates a powerful lever effect used to rock and pull embedded nails or staples out of material.
- Precision Blades: The jaws are typically made of hardened, drop-forged steel to maintain sharpness even after repeated use on hard metals.
