Tabebuia is a group of tropical flowering trees native to Central and South America. Depending on the species, it produces masses of trumpet-shaped flowers in brilliant shades of pink, yellow, white, or purple. During the blooming season, the tree often sheds most of its leaves, allowing the colorful flowers to completely cover the branches and create a breathtaking display.
The tree typically grows 8–15 meters (26–50 feet) tall with a broad, rounded canopy. It thrives in full sunlight and well-drained soil and is well suited to tropical and subtropical climates such as Bangladesh. Once established, Tabebuia is moderately drought tolerant and requires minimal maintenance.
